Community Guidelines

The Community Guidelines apply to all content and conduct on FavVote, and to all FavVote users. They cover the following topics:

• Spam and Abusing the System

Fake accounts, repetitive polls, sharing malicious links, abusing the system. This and similar activities or behaviors are prohibited. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Privacy

Sharing personal information, threatening to share personal information, sharing someone's private content without their permission, sharing unwanted images of someone on the platform. This and similar activities or behaviors are prohibited. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended. Respect the privacy rights of others.

• Hate Speech

Insults, swear, incitement, racist, sexist and sarcastic statements, hate symbols and logos. This and similar activities or behaviors are prohibited. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended. Be respectful towards people.

• Child Safety

Our Child Safety policy is designed to protect minors from sexual and physical abuse, and the psychological harm that can result from sharing such content. We have zero tolerance for any content that contains or encourages child sexual abuse. We prohibit and remove any activity that involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, regardless of intent, including child sexual abuse or images of child abuse (even if created with artificial intelligence), luring, violence against children, child nudity, or sexualization of children. We report all detected instances of child sexual abuse, including any attempt to engage in such behavior, to the authorities. Additionally, the account will be permanently suspended. After you notify us of possible violations of our Child Safety policy, you can notify the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) using the CyberTipline portal. In all our policies, we define the term child as people under the age of 18. It may be illegal to engage with content that violates our Child Safety policy. So never post, record, send, transmit, distribute, vote on, comment on or solicit content that violates our Child Safety policy. FavVote is not primarily directed at children, but anyone over the age of 13 can sign up for the service.

• Suicide or self-harm

Content that encourages, supports, gives instructions or self-harm to harm themselves or those around them is prohibited. It is forbidden to share strategies and content that promote eating disorders and suicide attempts. Content that violates these rules will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Sensitive or disturbing media

Sharing blood, brutality, death, massacre and similar content, as well as expressions and content that support or encourage them, are prohibited. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Sexual Content

It is forbidden to share content that includes explicit or implicit sexual behavior, adult pornographic content, full or partial nudity of genitals, buttocks and female breasts. Similarly, the use of words that imply sexual behavior is also prohibited. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Abuse and Harassment

Objectification, targeted harassment, incitement to harass, and offensive sexual remarks are prohibited. Your account may be suspended. Additionally, do not abuse our reporting mechanisms, such as intentionally reporting content deemed appropriate to harass another FavVote user. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Illegal Trade and Promotion

We do not permit the illegal promotion, facilitation or trade in firearms, smuggling, non-medical or pharmaceutical drugs, the provision of sexual services, live animals, online gambling, lotteries, drug dealing, drug solicitation, alcohol and tobacco products and all other regulated goods and industries. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Fraud and Scams

We prohibit undisclosed paid or sponsored content, pay-per-follower promotions or other follower growth schemes, the promotion of spam practices, or the promotion of  pyramid schemes. We prohibit scams and other deceptive practices, including the promotion of fraudulent goods or services, or get-rich-quick schemes or FavVote impersonations. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Misinformation

We prohibit the spread of harmful or malicious information (even if generated through generative AI or deceptive editing), denial of the existence of tragic events, fake news, intentional misinformation, manipulation, misleading financial advice, false medical claims, undermining the integrity of legal processes, or manipulating content for false or misleading purposes. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account may be permanently suspended.

• Violent and Hateful entities

Violent extremism and terrorism, hate groups and networks. It is forbidden to carry out these and similar behaviors, to praise or promote their activities. Content that violates this rule will be removed. Your account will be permanently suspended.
